"The property itself was as listed, but we spent an hour trying to find it. We had to stop and ask a resident of the area for directions. He said “good luck with that place. They’ve been shut down a few times” He also warned us about copperheads and rattlesnakes. We were never able to contact the host. VRBO offered to find us another place. We ended up staying at a hotel. VRBO said that they will compensate us for the cost "

"Decorated super cute! Just rather small, the photos made it look just a little bit bigger. Also the second bedroom is actually just the living room, which worked out fine for my group but it would have been nice to know so we could have planned a little better. Hosts were super nice and quick to respond with any questions!"

Beds were comfy, bathrooms were clean. Family cuddled up in the living rm at night to watch movies. The only slight difficulty we found was finding a good grocery store in town. Host was responsive. "The house in Cave City was nice and convenient for our trip exploring the Mammoth Cave area. The kids really appreciated the bunk beds and the smores kits. I really appreciated the white noise machines in the bedrooms. The only thing was I thought it was priced a little high - by the time you included all the fees it came out to slightly over 300 a night, but I realize it was summer and that is peak season."

"Communication was proactive and showed a genuine concern for our comfort during our stay. There was an error in double booking on the property’s end and they made extra accommodations for us and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. The owner is a very kind person and reached out on a few occasions to ensure we had everything we needed. The cabin was beautiful, well maintained, and clean, and had great amenities for cooking.
