"The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast is very good with a large variety of items. The interior is aesthetically pleasing, especially the dining area is very beautiful. The setting is wonderful with a lot of green and the Teltow Kanal right along the property. Listening to the birds outside through the open window in the morning was wonderful! Otherwise, the room was very quiet with only a few sounds coming from outside the door during my stay. To my surprise there was a massage chair...

"Das Zimmer hatte fast alles, was man brauchte. Ein zusätzlicher Stuhl wäre nett gewesen. Außerdem war unsere dusche vom Zimmer aus einsehbar, das Waschbecken war im Zimmer, die Toilette war nicht einsehbar und mit Tür versehen. Leider hat es in dem "Zimmer" der Toilette wirklich sehr sehr stark nach Zigarettenrauch gerochen, was sehr unangenehm war. Wenn die Klimaanlage lief, hat es den Zigarettengeruch im Zimmer verteilt. Schon beim ersten betreten des Zimmers hat es nach dem Zigarettengeruch...

"Location of the hotel is fantastic - foot distance to some attractions, others easily accessible with public transport. Breakfast - marvelous, large and good quality selection. Room was good but some improvements possible - eg some of bathroom amenities require maintenance. A nice surprise was some add on’s for kids, like painting blocks, pencils, some little to-dos with a sweet gift at the end. All together highly recommendable for a family stay in Berlin"

"Fantastic stay Berlin at this historic hotel that felt almost brand new. Loved all the dark wood in our room. Staff in the hotel and restaurant were very engaging and a joy to interact with. Loved the location right next to the Brandenburg Gate. Close to all forms of public transportation."

"I am not totally satisfied: i got a room with two beds instead of a room with a king bed (what I booked). The room was warm and the airco is not able to cool it down to a temperature that I like, but only 5 'degrees'? from a central decided point. Why not giving me the option that I want my room at 18 degrees? Would be better. Now it was much too warm for me. Breakfast is good but crowded. You have to pay for the spa and swimming pool, but they are honest about it."

"Very nice and clean, no noise either. Only issue is the lift in the building was strange and bit tricky to navigate. Other then that, no real complaints, slept well and very much enjoyed our stay."

"We checked in to find the air conditioning broken in our room. At 5:30pm I called guest services who said they’d send maintenance. At 7pm I went and asked again in person at reception. At 9:30pm I called again. At 10pm I asked to speak to the manager. He found us a room with working aircon and moved us. He also offered free breakfast for our stay which was nice. The new room air con did work but not to the standard an Australian or American would expect so sleeping was difficult. The beds are...
