"Had a wonderful time staying at the cozy shoehouse as we took a couple days to reunite with family after moving out of state. Spent 23 years in York visiting the shoe from time to time. It was very nostalgic inside and outside of the shoe. Unlike practically all shoes, this one did not stink."

"The farm apartment was the perfect place to stay with our kids. Plenty of space for them to run around, swings, and animals in view. Centrally located for tourist activities, you could hear buggys driving past with the windows open. We had a blast meeting the cows and donkeys. The kitchen has everything you need. "My friend and I meet in the middle in Lancaster every Memorial Day and this was the favorite place we stayed! Our kids (3, 7, and 10) loved playing on the little beach and floating on the rafts (it was still too early season for swimming). They also enjoyed watching the neighbors/hosts go about their chores and chatting with the chickens.
