"Davidson Cottage was charming and cosy and very well situated for a walk into the Penola township or a drive to the wineries.Our hosts had thought of everything we may need and we made good use of the open fire, whilst our little dog loved the sun filled fenced yard and getting to know the Alpaca next door. This was a great base to explore the Coonawarra and we have stocked up our cellar for winter. We certainly hope to return."

"As a family of 2 parents, three tall young adults and a girlfriend we comfortably settled into the WH for 3 nights. We found everything we needed, shared 2 bathrooms and an extra toilet and were very comfortable and warm this winter in the three generous bedrooms, comfortable roomy lounge and well appointed kitchen and dining area. We were able to buy early morning coffees and pastries across the road, drive to all the local wineries and have dinner at the local (on the corner) hotel. We had...

"What a beautiful property! We had an hours-long tour with Kathy, the caretaker, who lives in a cottage at the back of the property. There was so much to explore! The kids loved the pool. We played tennis. We walked, and walked, and walked. Quirky, and fun! Kathy and the team go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Beds were comfy, and lots of care taken to keep the place clean and visually interesting. Enjoy! "
