"We decided to stay here for a restful break in early Winter. Not unexpectedly it was rather cold and wet outside, but the Unit was wonderfully warm and well insulated despite the weather. The bed and couches were very comfortable and the kitchen was easy to work in. We chose to bring a slow cooker and air-fryer which meant we rarely went out for meals. The hot water worked well and the hosts were helpful and friendly. My husband uses a walking frame but this was easy to manage in the Unit. The...

"I’ve lost count of how many times we have stayed in this lovely property while visiting relatives in the Mt Gambier area. It really is a home away from home!"

"Excellent rooms very spacious, clean, exceptional bathroom/shower, close to shopping and local eateries/ main street. There is no reception but check in was very simple and phone correspondence was very good and couldn't do enough to help, very courteous. Price was very reasonable and would certainly seek out Aloha properties when next we travel. "

"What a beautiful property! We had an hours-long tour with Kathy, the caretaker, who lives in a cottage at the back of the property. There was so much to explore! The kids loved the pool. We played tennis. We walked, and walked, and walked. Quirky, and fun! Kathy and the team go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Beds were comfy, and lots of care taken to keep the place clean and visually interesting. Enjoy! "

"It was a delight to stay three nights at Air's Cottage, Penola. It could not have been more welcoming. The cottage has been beautifully preserved and renovated. It has modern amenities and is very comfortable. I would highly recommend Air's Cottage to anyone I know who might visit and stay in Penola."
