"Fantastic, couldn’t have been more accommodating, stayed here as was competing in Scottish half marathon, house just across the road from finish line!! Also bus outside the house to head directly to Edinburgh where we enjoyed the Fringe festival. Alice went out of her way to ensure we had a fantastic weekend, highly recommend."

"This was a leisure visit. We were greeted by you are early (30 mins) which I had acknowledged before they mentioned it and said they would check. Again they said we were early but the room was ready and told Room 3 upstairs! We only have 7 rooms we were told. The room was tidy but dusty and the window although double glazed had a gale blowing through as it didn’t fully seal when closed. The shower head had more water coming out of the top of the shower head than where it was supposed to come...

Overall a decent stay and all the things you need. But for me the atmosphere was... not super welcoming. "We never got to stay in the apartment because we couldn't safely get to it. We were informed on the Expedia page that it would be a first-floor apartment. This was not true. The apartment was on the fourth floor (which is fifth floor in the US). The stairs were dangerous and unsafe. "Two live wasps were in the room. Owner offered a downgraded room that had toilet outside the room. We had paid for en suite so we refused his offer and he agreed to refund us the money we had paid. I’ve had to message the owner few times to take care of the refund but I haven’t had any update. I now have to deal with the hassle of reporting the matter to the platform to get my money back. This is a headache I could have done without so I could enjoy my holiday. "

"I want to gatekeep this review - this was such a fantastic stay. The Townhouse is fantastic! Such great attention to detail and Alexander/Erika were so good at communicating with me; proactive and timely always. The room itself was large, spacious and so well appointed.
