"The room was nicer than my apartment. I booked the room with the jetted tub, but was given the room with a sauna. That was my only disappointment. The room was amazing. There was a full kitchen in the apartment, including a large fridge and freezer. It also had everything you could possibly need to cook a small meal. The recliners were very comfortable. The bed was extra soft and had a heated mattress. The shower was extra hot and the water pressure was perfect. I really enjoyed the towel...

"This is the second time we've visited the Low Head, George Town area and wanted to stay at the pilot station. We were not disappointed; these charming old buildings are in great condition for their age. We had trouble with the gas heater in our unit but Jodi from the kiosk came to the rescue. The bed was comfortable; the kitchen well stocked with cooking equipment and parking was onsite and close to the unit. These units are old and have some "quirky" features at times. We would definitely stay...

"Everything ! It was the best place to stay. Beth was the perfect host, it was like staying with a friend. Comfortable bed, lovely hot shower. Everything was clean and welcoming. "Wonderful place for our family trip to Devonport. Being a midwinter trip we were worried it might be cold but plenty of extra blankets were provided and heating was great. Very comfortable beds including sofa bed. Well stocked kitchen. Perfect location for exploring don railway, penguins at Lilico beach and heading into Devonport. "

"We stayed there with our show dogs as we had a show in Ulverstone which was less than 15 mins away. Great secure backyard for dogs to relax in after the shows each day. And sat out with them on the front porch enjoying the lovely weather. Lovely and quiet area which was good as our dogs remained quiet too. House was a bit warm at night but very comfy overall. Had everything you need. "
