"The cottage was super ‘comphy’ and perfect for the two of us and had everything that we needed! The owner was fantastic and told us about all the things that we should do while there! Our pup was very welcomed and I knew he was safe if we needed to leave him for dinner. It wasn’t far from Camden/ Rockland/Rockport, which is where we spent a lot of time when not at the cottage. We will definitely suggest it to others and be staying with them again!!"

"The listing does not match reality. The advertising is misleading, and the property fails to provide basic safety for children. There is no lighting on the walkway, which creates a serious hazard. Inside, there is no hot water and no functional bathroom, making the stay uncomfortable and unacceptable. This property needs major improvements before it should be rented to anyone."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Liberty Lodge! The place had beautiful views for sitting out on the deck enjoying your morning coffee. It was great having a separate space for the kids to play their video games, (yes, we brought our PlayStation for some moments of sanity), and foosball. I loved that we could bring our furry friend, (after all she is part of our family), and she was as good as gold. The host was very responsive to our questions and just about everything you need plus more is...

"If you are looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway, I highly recommend this place. Hosts were amazingly helpful and kind as well. While it's not too far from the city/town, especially at night you will feel like you are in the middle of the wilderness. I would take this over a hotel 100/100 times."
