"The property was fantastic, as described. Crabbing was good. Frank was very responsive at all times. We had an issue with the hot water. Frank and 2 of his workers were there the next day to fix it. We did not encounter any jellyfish where we swam in front of the house. Our only issue was the location is not ideal for doing other things as there’s just not a lot to do unless you drive an hour away. Our teenagers made the hour one-way trip a few times to go elsewhere. Overall, we had an awesome...

"Grandparents and daughter's family, ages ranging from 75 years to 1 month. Had a wonderful time at Easthaven. From the Scavenger Hunt to the Sunfish to the Beach and Park passes...this family goes all out to provide a great experience. "

"My friends booked a last minute staycation to catch up in one place. This place had all the amenities to bring groceries and hunker down for the weekend. The grounds were gorgeous and all the home spaces were cozy. Also, the owner was incredibly communicative before the stay and when we had a few questions during. I hope to find a reason to stay here again in the future."

"Quiet, cozy and private cabin stocked with everything you need!We enjoyed fishing in the pond and dining at High Tides in Colonial Beach.Also visited Westmoreland State Park for hiking & more fishing!We definitely hope to return!"

"My stay was beautiful, excellent, peaceful, very relaxing. My views from the house was beautiful, the sounds of the waves of the water was much needed to detox from everyday life. We fished & crabbed took in the scenery. Our host is/was great wonderful timely response to all my questions."

"The location was perfect for us for a few days to get away. Being on the water was perfect. We loved being able to bring our fur babies with us. The kitchen had everything we needed. Tina was a great host. We hope to go back again. "

"Beyond being a lovely house, we were impressed by how much space we had available. We had four adults, each of whom had their own room and their own bed—usually oversized—with several beds to spare and more comfy common areas than we could fully take advantage of. Next time I’ll bring more friends!"

"We had a great 2 night stay this past month. The house was immaculate and well- equipped in all ways- comfortable beds, plenty of nice quality towels, kitchen utensils, pots etc . Our grandkids who visited while we were there lived the air hockey table too! Hosts were super responsive. Quiet, serene location andeasy still to the waterfront "

"We are not strangers to the area, my wife having grown up in the area, but each time we stay on the Chesapeake we feel at home. The Hideaway is so nice that you don't want to go back your actual home! It is furnished as if it is a year-round residence, no cheap or mismatched furniture and appliances. We enjoy cooking and the kitchen is has everything you need and it works. The yard and amenities are top notch. If you enjoy bird watching, sit in the back yard and take in the bird activity...
