"Pretty outdated and not kept very well. Lots of patching throughout the walls and ceilings. Wide gaps in the room door and you can’t close the blackout curtains, only the sheer set. Shower floor was stained orange. Toilet overflowed from one piece of tissue multiple times spilling water through the entire bathroom floor and out into the room. Called the front desk and was told they didn’t have anyone for maintenance at the moment, that they would send someone up when someone came in. I had to go...

"Amanda was lovely: very helpful and she made such delicious breakfasts every morning fresh. The house is charming. It feels like it’s in the middle of the quaintest tiny villages but Hartford is under 30 minutes away and New Haven was an easy 45 minutes. The bed was comfortable and the room was huge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"I had a wonderful overnight stay at the Graduate by Hilton Storrs. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, and the staff provided excellent, friendly service throughout my visit. "This is a nice old inn. The highlights of our room were the excellent bedding inclluding high-quality sheets, and a nicely done new shower. The downside was that we never saw a single person – guest or staff. It seems that this is a self-serve inn, from retrieving your key from a lockbox to brewing your own coffee in the morning. This turned out not to be a huge problem, but it did seem strange to have no human contact."
