"I really enjoyed dining at the Beacon. After a long day of college orientation I enjoyed relaxing with a beer on the patio. The inside dining area had a good vibe too!"

"It's hard to quantify "good taste", but this hotel has it in spades. The style hearkens back to a Victorian hotel, and the staff were very helpful. It's a beautifully-maintained property. And dinner at their on-site restaurant was superb."

"Parking should have been free. But I did like the parking area. It was enclosed and felt safe. Room was clean, nice bathroom. It definitely could have been cooler in the room. Staff was very nice and helpful especially the late night staff. We needed extra towels and they had no problem bringing them to our room. Overall pretty decent experience."

"The location was just perfect to where we needed to be. Close to restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. The room was spacious and clean. Couldn't hear lots of noise which made for a restful sleep. The best surprise was the bar! We loved all the drinks there. 100/100 in taste, design, and the bar staff was so fun and friendly. Will definitely go back at this hotel if we are in MN again."

Main complaint about stay was the lack of consistency in daily room cleaning. One day no maid service was performed and we had to alert the front desk.
