Sobre aquest allotjament

The Bungalow. Cedar shake cabin near Mount Bohemia, boat launch, beach. Private

  • Welcome to your ultimate woodland escape! Nestled right in the trees at 6116 Sand Point Road in Lac La Belle, The Bungalow is your front-row seat to pure Upper Peninsula adventure. Step out the front door and dive straight into world-class fishing, hunting, hiking, or biking—or hop on your 4-wheeler and hit the trails to Bear Bluff, Montreal Falls, and Copper Harbor.

We’re just minutes away from local favorites and historic Keweenaw gems:

Outdoor Hotspots: Kick back at the Mount Bohemia Spa, cruise the local ATV and snowmobile trails, sink your toes into the gorgeous, white "singing sands" of Bete Grise, launch your boat or kayak at the public boat launch, or grab supplies at the Lac La Belle store.

Must-See Local Sightseeing: Tour the historic Delaware Copper Mine, catch epic fall foliage, bird migrations, and Lake Superior panoramas from the Brockway Mountain lookout, wander among massive ancient trees in the Estivant Pines old-growth forest, or step back in time at historic Fort Wilkins State Park with its interactive displays and period-costumed actors.

Charter Fishing: Captain Brian with Sand Point Charters (906-370-2257) is right down the road for an unforgettable day on Lake Superior!

When you're back at the cabin, whip up hearty home-cooked meals in your vintage kitchen—pots, pans, a toaster oven, electric range, fridge with freezer, silverware, knives, and some baking utensils. If a rainy day rolls in, unplug and unwind with our a selection of books and board games.

Good to Know Before You Pack Your Bags:
BYO Water: Please remember to bring your own drinking water for your stay.

Unplug & Recharge: No TV or internet here—nature is the main event!

Cell Coverage: AT&T works great up here, but Verizon does not. Secure your directions before you exit US 41 for the drive down the hill towards Lac La Belle.

Get ready to unplug, explore, and make some unforgettable memories!

Up North retreat

The cabin was very clean, and the host was available when needed and easy to get ahold of. But be aware that the fridge is only a mini fridge and bunk beds are over under bunks in a very small room. The property is not landscaped very well and is littered with discarded old furniture parts. The deck faces the road which is not too far from the cabin and the family across the street had many home-schooled children that would skateboard up and down the road all day long every day. They were friendly, but always there. We still managed to enjoy our stay, love the area!
