    Precioso concepto abierto de 3 dormitorios, 2 baños con terraza envolvente con vista al río Penobscot. Las paredes orientadas al sur son de vidrio, lo que hace que la cabina sea muy luminosa y soleada. La cabina tiene una cocina completa y una lavadora y secadora de tamaño completo. Las tiendas de comestibles, restaurantes y otros servicios están a solo 3 millas y media de distancia. El Parque Estatal Baxter se encuentra a unos 34 kilómetros de distancia. Las águilas vuelan por encima todos los días. Pescar a orillas del río. La cabina viene equipada con canoa, kayaks, hoguera, juego de patio, sillas Adirondack, tumbonas, sillas para alrededor de la hoguera. Se proporciona leña. Hay una televisión en la sala de estar con un reproductor de DVD y muchas películas. La recepción de teléfonos inteligentes 3G funciona bien. O puede desconectarse y relajarse en la terraza o junto a la hoguera y ver pasar el río. Motos de nieve y ATV senderos cercanos. Hay mucho espacio en el patio para sus remolques.
    Techo extendido sobre cubierta. No más palear escaleras. Ahora capaz de sentarse afuera bajo la lluvia. Julio de 2016: se instaló un generador automático para toda la casa. No se preocupe si se va la luz: el generador se encenderá en un minuto.

This property is secluded yet still near stores. It is so very peaceful - right next to a gentle flowing river. A great deck to sit out on and enjoy the fresh air.

The Expedia description says it's walking distance to restaurants, stores, gas stations and other amenities - definitely not the case. The map on Expedia of where the property is located is also wrong and should be corrected by the host. The property was extremely dirty - I question whether it was actually even cleaned before we got there. Beds were made, but toilets were dirty, sinks were dirty, countertops were dirty, floors were dirty - the whole inside was sort of disgusting. The microwave had a disposable coffee cup still in it (I can only imagine what that looked like inside it) and molding food debris on the rotating base and walls. The bathroom sink had someone else's hair in it and toothpaste remnants. The garbage can still had some garbage in it and it smelled like someone died in it. The temperature was at the lowest setting and it took over 2 hours to get to a reasonable temperature. The home is in need of repairs, with missing wood and trim pieces, broken windows and unrepaired leaks that are full of mold. We tried to wash the towels we used when we left (like the owners asked us to), but there was no laundry detergent to be found. We literally talked about sleeping in our car instead of the property, because we were so disgusted. I wouldn't stay there again for free. Hire a new cleaning Company!!!

Riverside near Baxter

Check-in was a breeze and the kitchen was well-appointed and very clean. Location is spectacular. A canoe and two kayaks were provided and we used them every day. If you want to see bald eagles, this is your place!

The house is just minutes away from town in a quiet private area. We were very comfortable staying here . The kitchen is set up nicely and has a bar and ample dining table. The livingroom is very comfortable. The bedrooms are good size. Everything was clean and described. Will rent this space again when in the area

This was the best vacation our family had in a long time. It’s private, and spacious, and close to town but right on the water. We would stay again for sure.

Beautiful house in the woods

We were so pleased when we drove up and saw this house. The layout was great the location is great. It was a good homebase for a white water rafting trip.

Wished we could of stayed longer. Fishing was great!

Home was stocked well with everything we needed. We had a great time on the water fishing and boating. Very peaceful and would definitely stay again when In the area

Beautiful waterfront. Having a canoe and two kayaks on property was great for the four of us. Didn’t see a moose though (much sadness). Nice kitchen layout. Baxter state park was only about a 30 minute drive. Host was great and helped us work thru any issues we had.

Picturesque Riverfront property

LOVED our time there- hiked in Baxter State Park, kayaked down the Penobscot River, roasted s'mores on an open fire....all in one day!!

Best place in Millinocket!

This place is great! Close to town, but when you're home, you feel like you're the only one on the planet! Quiet and clean, this house is great! The fire pit was awesome and used every night! Plenty of outdoor spaces to eat, drink and be merry! Highly recommend this house!

Tranquil setting

We came to the area to go whitewater rafting on the Penobscot River. Millinocket is a small town with a great breakfast spot-The Appalachian Trail cafe. The only issue we had was that there was no air conditioning on a very warm day and holes in screens so there were mosquitos and moths in the house.

Beautiful location and home. It is difficult to find the home though, and putting a house # at the start of the driveway or a cabin name would be a big help, especially when people are arriving at dark.

Quiet Family Getaway

My husband and I stayed here with our adult daughter and her fiancé. The cabin was secluded yet close to town for food and a short distance to Mt Katahdin/Baxter State Park. We were able to enjoy a campfire in the evening and watch an eagle and loons in the morning along the river. The kitchen was fully equipped where we enjoyed cooking our meals together. There was plenty of space to spread out to talk, read or watch movies and beds were comfortable. We would stay here again!

Peacefulness

We had a wonderful time just renewing ourselves!! The windows toward the water kept us mesmerized even though we had a lot of rain. This has been on my bucket list for years and it was everything and more such beautiful colors perfect timing! Thanks for sharing your wonderful cabin!!!

5 Stars – Perfect Riverside Retreat in Millinocket

Absolutely loved our stay at this incredible property on the Penobscot River. The location was unbeatable—peaceful, remote, and quiet, yet just a short drive to downtown Millinocket. The house had everything we needed and more, but it was the outdoor space that really set it apart. From the rope swing and fire pit to the spacious deck overlooking the river, it was a dream setup for our family.The fishing was phenomenal, and we were lucky enough to spot bald eagles and loons while out on the water. My boys and I made unforgettable memories and were genuinely reluctant to leave. We’re already looking forward to a much longer stay next summer. Can’t say enough good things about this place!
