Four Season House - Lake Frontage with Kayaks & Dock

Four season house at the eastern end of Sebec Lake with great views, spectacular sunsets, 2 kayaks and a seasonal dock (mid-May - mid-September). Set in a one-acre lot with large lawn down to the water's edge and private dock. House, which is around 80 yards from the lake, is surrounded by nature yet has all the comforts of home. Large wrap around deck for entertaining or just relaxing. Sleeps up to 8 (3 bedrooms; 2 full bathrooms). Wide pine floors, large rooms and lots of windows. Perfect for relaxed family breaks, hiking or sporting vacations. This is truly an all-season vacation home. Enjoy your own private corner of one of Maine's best-kept secrets.

A great place to be at the lake. This area of the lake was calm, peaceful and good for kids to play around in the water as it is shallow for a large area. We had a great time. Would stay here again for sure. TONS of lightening bugs to see at night!

We had a wonderful stay! The property was incredibly quiet and private, with everything we needed to feel comfortable. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay.We especially loved the dock and firepit—perfect spots to relax. Stargazing from the dock and deck was an unexpected bonus; the night sky views were absolutely stunning.We stayed as a group of five (two adults, one teen, and two seniors), and the space worked beautifully for us. The home was accessible, and while the living area is open, the bedrooms offered plenty of privacy. Highly recommend!

Great Getaway

This is a wonderful cabin in a secluded and quiet spot. The hosts were wonderful, responsive and helpful throughout the process. The cabin was set up with Roku TV and games and puzzles. Beds were comfortable. The overall experience was relaxing and perfect for some time away.

Great Getaway on the Lake

My family and I had a wonderful time on Sebec Lake. The lake was clear and warm, and my children enjoyed snorkeling, kayaking and catching frogs. Rosemary was the perfect host and very attentive.

Fun family vacation

We had a great time relaxing at the house. We had campfires, used the grill and my daughter loved swimming with the fish off of the dock. We rented a pontoon boat from Merrill’s Marina and was out on the lake everyday fishing and tubing!

Exactly what we needed!

We had a fantastic time at the cabin. It had everything we needed. Despite a little rainy weather, we made memories on the lake, went on a few adventures and spent quality time together playing board games and watching movies. Perfect House for a Memorable Friends’ Gathering

I recently stayed at this house with a group of friends, and it was excellent for our gathering. The home perfectly met our needs, comfortably sleeping everyone. My family loved the property. The cabin was the perfect size for us. Be sure to bring your own Roku or firestick. The yard to the water's edge was a little tough for those of us who have trouble walking. Otherwise very nice property.

4 days in Maine

First off we enjoyed our stay. The pictures on VRBO are very deceiving, You can not see the lake from the house and is a long walk to the water. I have a bad back so I wasn't able to enjoy the water frontage. Also the gas grill on the deck as alot to be desired.

We LOVED our week at the cabin! Everything was exactly as described, and the property was even better than the photos. Rosemary's communication was incredible from the moment we booked. Serene lake setting

We had a wonderful time at the camp. It was well set up for family. The kids we disappointed the water level at the end of the lake was down for swimming we rented a boat from Merrill’s and had a great day out swimming and also went to the public beach. The owners we wonderful to work with great communication prior to getting there. We never tire of being at sebec lake can’t wait til our next visit

We lucked out and were there for the peak of colors on Sebec Lake! We also lucked out and had the dock in the water when we arrived. They did not bring the dock in until the day before we left.

Great location!

Great location right on the water, so close to ATV trails and all other sorts of outdoor adventure. Cottage is spacious and nice, great deck, nice private, yard...bigger than I expected. Some updating needed, but nothing that would spoil a trip. Overgrown trees & bushes starting to obscure lake view, which is too bad. Overall my family and I loved it and will definitely return!
