"The location was fantastic, just over a block from the entrance to Kings Cross station in a quiet residential area. Our room was TINY with two comfortable twin beds and a well designed tiny bathroom. They did a great job cleaning every day and the front staff was really helpful with our luggage and questions. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Breakfast is advertised as one of the best in the area. It was a good breakfast, but not your typical hotel breakfast. Its a made-to-order eggs or bagel essentially that takes about 20 mins to wait for (in what should take about 5). The breakfast also starts later in the morning than I am used to, so if you have an early tour (we did at 830), you miss breakfast."

"Affordable, clean, and a great location
Stayed at the George Hotel and had a good time. The staff were friendly, and check-in and check-out were easy. The room was on the small side, but it was affordable, so that made sense, and it was clean. It even came with tea and coffee for the morning. The bathroom was small too, but just as clean, and the beds were comfortable.
The location is great. You can walk to a lot of London's sights, which made getting around easy. Definitely recommend it, and...

"Compact, clean, comfortable, and convenient :-) Very close to Kings Cross train station, many fast food and other restaurants, even a luggage store (lucky b/c the zipper on my suitcase broke!) Tiny room but spotless. Very comfortable bed. Shower (no door) and toilet in same space, which is…unusual. Hotel provided a fan which was helpful during unseasonably warm London weather.
A good choice for 1 night between long flight and catching train the next day.
***I’d intended to walk to KIngs cross...
