"The hotel has only been open for 3 weeks, which is probably 6 weeks too soon!!
The room was not finished - locks missing on bathroom door (just a hole waiting for the lock); no curtains or blind in the lounge area - the hot sun blazed in throughout the day and neighbouring rooms could see in, and finally, no air conditioning - the control panels are there, but not connected to anything.
I REPEAT ... NO AIR CONDITIONING. The day was very sunny and very hot and the room could not be cooled down...

"The cottage was gorgeous, in a lovely quiet location and parking at the back. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. We only stayed a night but it had almost everything you'd need for a stay. A bit of soap in the bathroom and teatowel/towel and washing up liquid in the kitchen with some milk for a cuppa when you arrive would have made it perfect. The bedding and towels were lovely and soft and smelt nice and the bed was very comfy. It was close to Hornsea and a large Tesco. I would...

"Very clean and tidy, exactly as shown on the pictures, very close to city centre so no need to get transport to do anything. Would definitely stay again!"

"Last minute booking as decided to stay overnight in York. Communication for check in was quick, property was easy to find, close to town and super clean and tidy. Had a relaxing stay and would definitely consider again next time we were in York. Small supermarket and Mrs Greedy’s at end of road was excellent for supplies and a quick cooked breakfast. "
