"Delightful pub with excellent accommodation. Cosy or elegant indoor dining areas and extensive outside seating area. Imaginative and tasty menu. Rooms very nicely appointed with lovely additional touches (fresh milk in a flask; home baked cookies; tea and coffee with cafetiere). "I received a lovely welcome despite my late arrival The room was lovely and clean and quiet. As a woman travelling on my own I felt very safe and well looked after. Breakfast was really lovely. I hope to return and hopefully have tome for dinner next time! "

"Nice friendly staff. We were able to stow our luggage inside because we arrived too early and after checking out to tour the town. Close to the train station. Rooms were recently remodeled. Breakfast was traditional, very good, home cooked. The only downside is the stairs to the rooms. Very tight, but they will bring the luggage up for you."

"Information, including a video, provided by the friendly owners before and during our stay was excellent. The beautifully appointed cottage was convenient for Salisbury and for the nearby pub which serves good food. We will definitely stay there again, if in the area."

"Nice dining area for breakfast and evening meals. Good variety of options for breakfast and a varied evening meal menu. Beds are nice and comfortable. Good tea and coffee facilities in room. If I had have known it was so pet friendly I may have brought my pet. Convenience store with ATM on other side of street for any other items. All of the staff we encountered were pleasant, courteous and helpful. I would stay again when I return to the area as I likely will."
