  • Hillside House offers the best of city and suburban living, being located on a quiet street right at the edge of Box Hill city.

    This fully furnished 4 bedroom house offers relaxed and luxurious surroundings from which to explore the city of Melbourne or visit/entertain family in the area of Box Hill/Blackburn. Located five minutes walk from Laburnum Train Station, or a five minute drive to Box Hill's fine dining and shopping, Hillside House is the perfect suburban holiday destination. If you want to explore the Melbourne CBD a 25 minute train ride will take you to the heart of the city. If you would prefer to drive then the toll free Eastern Freeway is only five minutes drive away and offers access to the CBD in 20 minutes.

    If staying at home, free wifi and flatscreen TVs provide entertainment. There is also a large backyard for children to play in safety. The quiet shopping village next to Laburnum train station offers a cafe and restaurants, a hair salon, bottle shop and fruit store.

Host was nice and friendly amenities were good great location to get the train and get around wouldBe a lot better with an area out the back for entertaining was a bit old and run down in that area overall we had a great time and enjoyed our stay

This was a great place to stay in Melbourne. It's in a nice neighborhood, with very good access to nearby shops and transport. The house had everything we needed, and was very comfortable for a week-long stay. The washer and dryer were nice to have on site. Parking is convenient, right in front of the house. We highly recommend this home, it is great for families with all the bedrooms.

Great location!!!

I stayed here with three friends, and we had plenty of space to hang out. The location is excellent, and the host was very responsive when I had a request. Overall, my friends and I had a great time!

Clean, well kept and furnished. Nice kitchen with enough crockery to cook a meal for 4-6 people. Perfect for a short stay, quiet location but close enough to the main road
