Lake Cabin at gorgeous Upper Silver Lake just waiting for memories to be made. The large lot is perfect for gatherings with large decks on both the front and back of the cottage. It is a great place to relax and enjoy the tranquility of stepping away from the real world.

We have 2 other properties close by FAITH 4846442 and HOPE 4846407 if you need more room.

The house has all the amenities you need. A washer and dryer, plenty of parking for dune buggies and trailers.

The location is great. Secluded enough to relax, but close enough to all the action if you are up for it. Downtown Silver Lake is approximately 2 miles away where you can rent Jeeps, dune buggies, jet skis, boats etc. If you have any questions about the house just ask!

Quiet Hours: As neighbors are close and families have young children we will ask that all guests respect quiet hours. Quiet hours will begin at 10:00 pm and end at7:00 am.

Although the house yields itself for larger gatherings, parties will not be tolerated.

Cute cottage that had ample space and amenities for a great family getaway to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes. We loved our trip & would stay at this property again. The Host was attentive & quick to respond with an unforeseen delivery of space heaters (as the furnace struggled to kick on the first cold night of the season). This quick “customer service” response was greatly appreciated & sufficiently warmed the cottage for our weekend. Thank you, Tim, for your kind & quick response!

Pleasant Stay

We had a good time while visiting Mears, MI. The stay at this lovely home was nice. Couch in living room could use an upgrade, but home has good space and back yard is huge, had fun running around with the littles of the family. Close to all the places like the lake, lighhouse, dune rides, shops.

summer break

The house was perfect for us. The kitchen could use 2 light bulbs replaced ( we put one in but didn't see more bulbs.). The downstairs bath needs light bulbs too. The previous renters did not clean out the ashes in the bbq. The kitchen could use a hand held can opener ( the neighbors were kind enough to help us out.) Very nice neighborhood!

Went up to ride the dunes all weekend but do to weather ended up staying in for most of Saturday. Plenty of room for my friends and I to sit and hangout comfortably. Thanks.

Perfect for large group

Tim’s place was just as described! We truly enjoyed ourselves for a summer weekend at this place in Silver Lake area. It’s a really good location, close to the dunes and beach. The house has a big kitchen and spacious bedrooms. It also has huge decks on the front and back of the house that my family enjoyed hanging out on. Highly recommend!

Nice location to the dunes

Nothing fancy but worked for the weekend. A few hiccups w accessing the house as the lock was one we’ve never used. One of the beds was broken (box spring) but we made due w putting the mattress on the floor. Only other issue was the can opener was broken but Tammy, the neighbor, was gracious to loan us her’s.

Great location close to everything in Mears

Loved the location ,nice house, great parking for trucks and trailers. The only thing was the exterior lighting in front was poor and the steps in front are very dark at night. Would definitely stay again!

Family Trip to Silver Lake

We traveled to Silver Lake for a short family get away. The house is in a great location, just a couple miles to Silver Lake and the Dunes. And a short drive to Pentwater. Overall the house was good. The only issue we had was when walking up the steps into the house there are 4 patio bricks that are extremely lose, one wrong step and those pavers pop up and could potentially cause someone to fall backwards. Other than that our family really enjoyed our stay!!

Excellent acommodations

The neighborhood was excellent; a country feel. Swimming was basically across the street. The house fit our family perfectly. It was well stocked and a pleasure to stay in. We enjoyed the large back yard and fire pit. The Silver Lake amenities were within easy driving distance. We are seriously considering returning again.

Family wedding in the area

We stayed here as there was a family wedding in the area. I wish we could have stayed longer to explore more but it was perfect for what we needed for a weekend wedding. Great location, great house with everything you need and more. Great communication, easy check-in and out. Great experience.
