"The place feels more like a halfway house than a hotel. No shampoo or soap in the bathroom, room is tiny, bed is absolutely awful. Check on was basic and the whole thing feels poorly handled. Stay elsewhere if you can, the only plus is it’s near the station, but yeah, it’s a dump. "

"What a unique experience! We were fascinated by the history of the manor, furnished by It was brought to life by David, who was prepared to spend as much time as we needed to explain things and give us helpful tips about the area. He also made us an excellent breakfast every morning. I loved his own concoction of oats, yoghurt and other delicacies. The manor and its furnishings "

"The rooms on the property are tiny, they look bigger in the pictures! The rooms are dated & dirty. I'm not sure we were actually clean after getting showered. The floor was gritty under foot and there were other people's hair all over the bathroom floor. There were a lot of mixed messages as well. When booking its advised that you can check in from 3 but check in forms we received implied you can't check in before 5. Breakfast was another mix of messages with staff not being clear either....

"Good parking and very clean property. However music from event hall was very loud until 11pm. Music carried on onto the 2nd floor about 3 am til about 5am. Awful night, none of us could sleep. No one yold us on check in that vreakfast was to be pre booked so imagine our surprise coming to breakfast with a child. Was a cery awful night with minimum sleep due to noise. "

"Great bar service and choice of meals. Breakfast is good with a great choice buffet or full English. The rooms are bright and airy with a large comfy bed, black out curtains and a large shower with shampoo, conditioner and body wash supplied. Tea/ coffee making facility is also provided. This is always our go to hotel, which is a short walk from the airport."

"The hotel was clean, the room well equipped and the staff were all very friendly and efficient. The only criticism we had was the food in the restaurant, whilst very nice, was not the fine dining experience we were hoping for. The menu, which includes burgers and fish & chips, didn’t reflect the surroundings of the dining room."

"Rooms are small but comfortable and clean. Coffee machine in our room and extractor fan in the bathroom did not work..but neither majorly Impacted our stay. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Bar and restaurant were decent. The car park is small and suitable for smaller cars. Location is decent, close to restaurants and shops. "
