"Booked room (twin) not ready on arrival (35 minutes after check in open. Was told could be 30-45 mins which was not acceptable. Asked if any room type was ready and was offered a double. This room (303) was terrible. There was no where to sit apart from bed. Room temp was around 40c even with windows open. No fan in room and only a single towel. "Not expecting too much for a 3 star hotel you just a clean room to rest but you certainly don't expect a hotel room to have a huge wet patch on the floor from some sort of leak or them trying to clean something up, a curtain missing so could not undress without the risk of exposing to neighbouring room and and considering it should have been a non smoking room to had a very strong odour of smoke that was ingrained in the carpet and beds. "The iron set alight when it was plugged it in. It begun to spark and we had to unplug it and tell the staff on reception. The water wasn’t hot at all had to have a cold shower. The breakfast and staff and bed were all good. You do have to pay for parking also… £25 with a discount code. I wouldn’t stay here again."
