The unique historical architecture was interesting, but the hotel was updated and had all the amenities that met our needs, including our private bath that was down the hall. "A wonderful day, Nadine at the front desk was excellent, room was clean, spacious and well kept up. Location was perfect. I am from this area and go back a few times a year for family events, this will be my new go to hotel."

"The pool wasn't open which was a disappointment. Also, there were weeds with prickly things on them shooting up throughout the shrub beds in front of the building which was my first impression when I pulled into the parking lot."

"Older property. A little noisy. You can hear everything coming from the hallway, conversations, door slamming, kids running around. Great location, staff is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast and dinner offered as part of your room cost is an added bonus!"

"I have stayed at this property several times when I have visited Pitt. I have already booked several stays for the upcoming year. Very convenient to campus, quiet, walkable, and safe. Easy parking and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend - it has consistently been a good place to stay. "

"We loved our stay at the beautiful Kimpton Monaco. Comfort and quality. The staff provided excellent service despite a full hotel with four wedding parties staying there. Love the art deco theme throughout. Room was large and well appointed, bed super comfortable. Sunday morning breakfast service was terribly slow as was valet car retrieval. Otherwise all good. Would return. "
