" The bath was absolutely stunning!!—easily one of the highlights of the trip, was also surprised by hot water for tea, the crackers on the table, hummus AND with the Whitakers chocy bar in the fridgeThere was plenty of space to stretch out and relax, both inside and out, with thoughtful design touches throughout. And that canopy bed!! A dream!Was comfortable, private and relaxing—highly recommend :)"

"Exactly as described, this house is somewhere to stay if you're not looking for anything high-end. The beds are comfortable and clean, the kitchen has everything you need to cook (I appreciated the pots and pans without the teflon coating), the washing machine and dryer worked fine and the internet and TV worked fine. There was lots of dust and cobwebs and a few spiders, but that's what you'd expect of an old schoolhouse.The location, 10 minutes drive south of Dargaville suited us well and the...

"Although the NZ weather was not welcoming, the Barefoot Cottage made up for it. It is ideal for a couple, clean, tidy and an excellent view of the ocean. An easy walk to the nearby cafe and beach (if only it was beach weather). We would definitely stay there again."

"Great weekend in Te Kopuru for a golf weekend at Baylys Beach. Lots of beds, big kitchen and living areas for our teenage boys. Spa pool was a huge hit also."
