"I only stayed one night so I can only comment on a few things. Our room was clean and the staff I engaged with was friendly and helpful. One disappointment was that there is a $9 fee for a parking pass for their lot. I think that’s ridiculous. I travel often and I’ve never been charged a fee to park in the hotels lot."

"Room we had was 707. The good points were the bed was comfortable though the pillows were comfy they were small size decorating pillows but had 4. Staff were all excellent and the breakfasts were well stocked and several choices. The dinning staff attendant was organized and super friendly and inviting. The rooms have been updated at some point but was poorly done. Here are areas that made me give only 3 stars, Trim and walls needing attention. Corners need a good cleaning. (Drives me nuts when...

"Parking was great no problems "

"The hotel overall is very clean. Any staff I encountered were helpful and friendly. We stay there on our way from NY to SC every year and will be staying again on our return trip."

"Room was clean. Heating/AC unit rattled constantly while heating, was fine while running. Parking lot was posted "park at your own risk." Not exactly reassuring, consider putting the parking lot under camera surveillance and posting as such."

"Several issues made this a disappointing experience. The bathroom exhaust fan was not functioning, making the bathroom stuffy and unusable. More concerning, guests were openly smoking marijuana at the main entrance, which was unpleasant and inappropriate. We were initially assigned a room on the 3rd floor, but a group of young men were loitering in the corridor, whispering comments like "a family is here" when they saw us — which felt uncomfortable and unsafe. "No coffee in the AM during breakfast. Could not grab a yogurt cup to go. That institutional yogurt dispenser was very unappealing. I don’t think it would kill you to have a brand name single serve yogurt available on ice. I ended up going to the local Starbucks to get a decent cup of coffee and a yogurt that I could eat while on the road."

"Bathroom and room dirty "

"The sofa bed is so worn and very uncomfortable. Needed towels, asked the front desk clerk at 8am, she said had to wait until 8:30…..asked again at 9:30, she said not ready they will bring to the room…..checked out at 10:30 and still did not receive the towels. The front desk clerk was somewhat rude when I asked for change to use the washer and dryer….said you can try across the street. The breakfast staff was very polite and friendly. "

"Door keys have to be re set almost daily, no housekeeping come to your room. When you go to the desk for toilet paper or trowels, bad attitudes. At least the men. One woman was kind. And now they make you do a $50 deposit. Of course it’s refundable. But it takes weeks to come back to you. Dirty, smelly, and you have to watch your car. People will scratch, dent and spill things on your car. I travel this way a lot for work. The only good thing about the place, is the location. And it used to be...

"Breakfast was free and tasty. Staff was friendly. There is parking for 10.00 a day but it is limited. Nice room. Had a pool and gym but did not use either. The hotel is close to Franconia station to hop on the Metro. Very convenient."

"Unfortunately they hold the deposit for the room and exceptionally long time. The stay was for 7 days ago and the $200 is still pending on my account. Completely unacceptable and I will not be booking this brand of hotels again. "
