"Honestly I made the reservation before reading the reviews but did read them as I was on the way there and it made me nervous. As I went to the front desk it was around 9:30pm and there was no one there, waited about 10 minutes and someone finally made it to the counter. I was checked in by two people and one was very nice and the other one was strictly business with zero customer service skills but you can tell this is just how they are, straight business. I had a 6 am appt for my 3 year old daughter and I live in the San Juan islands so I wasn't able to just catch a morning boat . There were people banging stuff around in their rooms, Hitting walls ? "Our second time staying there. There will be more. Be sure to get a water view room. It’s worth the extra! Several good restaurants to choose from. Everything is clean and neat!"

"The room needed upkeep. Maybe clean doors to bathroom, new paint along baseboards, definitely new rugs! Bed was pretty bad! Freezing when I arrived. Some things were updated awhile ago, but limited finishing. I will not stay another night."

"We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at Marina Inn. It’s a cute and newly renovated hotel with a very convenient location. It’s very clean, interior is tastefully decorated and staff is amazing. The breakfast is continental but a bit more variety than expected. We also enjoyed the cookie jar with fresh chocolate chip cookies available all day as well as coffee in the kitchen/reception area. We noticed there were larger rooms available, but despite seeing that we were traveling with kids and clearly needed more space, no effort was made to accommodate us. "A lot of unhoused, many wandering around the parking lot at all hours. Room service is nonexistent and when they showed up, it was just to drop off towels. Staff is nice, though. I definitely will not stay here again and do NOT recommend this property."

"Both the sink and bathtub were over flowing, did not drain properly. Towels had stains on them. The blankets felt very thin and had a distinctive scent. The carpet looks like it has never been vacuum or cleaned properly. The TV had issue turning on. We had to manually reset the TV for it to work. The carpets and walls in the hallways look outdated. All of our previous hotels allow us to check in early, they told us check in was at 3pm."
