"The rental was awesome! Definitely dated but it was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed how close it was to the beach you could walk on and that it was a very short drive to La Conner. A few things that would’ve made it a little better: we cooked dinner and breakfast at the rental and the pots/pans were very old and stained. There were very few plates so we had to do dishes very often and never had enough for a meal. (we had a total of 6 people). The stove took some getting used to as it is very...

"Small but very comfortable and well equipped cabin. Everything you need is there, and the destination fee includes snacks, coffee and water, and 3 bundles of fire wood a day. We loved the fire pit! "

"Our stay was wonderful. It was nice to be able to visit our son and our granddaughter. The cottage was so cute and inviting. We sat outside and watched our granddaughter play in the playhouse. All the rooms were decorated with gnomes and mushrooms. We enjoyed our time together. Thank you for the lovely home! "

"We came for a quick two-night trip. One of the events was at the yacht club, which was walkable for us. The opposite direction was the charming small downtown of Oak Harbor. Charming and fun. Nancy was attentive with any questions and listing is accurate. Thanks!"

"Everything from checking in to checking out was great. So many touches of a warm home to make my daughter and I feel like we were wrapped in a warm blanket. So many details from beach towels, to hot chocolate, to a popcorn maker and a book of great things to do in the area. Kitchen and bathroom were super clean with awesome shampoo. The view was top-notch. Location is close to everything but just far enough way to feel like you are in the woods. Covered parking was a plus. Will stay there...

"We had a great stay. The owner lives next to the home and we enjoyed watching them take their little pack outside. There were also a lot of deer and bunnies. The place was really comfortable and we will be back."

"We enjoyed it, but some constructive criticism. * The door keypad code should be shortened. A 10-digit code is ridiculous. I believe 4 or 5 is adequate and would eliminate much frustration. *We rented after reading an April review noting the primary shower was terrible. The plumbing fixtures are old and not functional. The owner replied that the problem would be fixed. Well, it was not, and my we had to endure a trickle shower. I used the guest bath, but my wife likes the privacy of her bath....
