"A really great property on the water for a couple and pet or 2 couples!My partner and I loved our stay with our puppy. The walk down to the water is easy and the neigborhood is very quiet and private. A very close drive to town!The kitchen was nice to use and the ameninites were all great. Communication with Judy was easy and she was very kind. Loved staying here!"

"We loved our stay at the nest! Everything was so cute and cozy. There are so many small details in the home and outside that make it magical.There were five kids/teens in our party and they were in heaven! The loft was perfect for them and they loved having their own space out of reach from the adults. They loved the beach, especially low tide and exploring the tide pools. The tide was about -2 when we stayed and they thought the tide pools at the nest were more fun than some popular beaches...

"What an amazing property. While I love to camp, this was a great experience to not have to worry about packing gear and being able to relax. The cabin has a really thoughtful design with personal touches. The s’more kit, firewood and starters, and basic supplies that were provided included everything I needed. The expansive window at the bed made you think you were outdoors while in the comfort of dozing inside. I will definitely return and will bring a few friends to rent nearby cabins."

"This centrally located home is so very convenient to all of Fairhaven. Yet far enough up South Hill that the train traffic was not an issue. "

"This property is serene, beautiful, family friendly and a great place for a much needed retreat. Beautiful memories were built as our family had time to enjoy the amazing views, cooler weather and sounds of the sea. We spent most of the two full days packed with fun on the property alone (but go to the farmer's market on Saturday during the summer to buy Diane's fabulous clam chowder & Mike's amazing wooden figures). "we love this place. lots of water toys and a boat to fish in and just cruise the lake. the house is well supplied with everything you need and then some. this is the second year we have stayed here and hope to get it next year too.the location is just about 20 miles from our homes, which makes it easy to just come up for the day...."

"The house and Lake Goodwin were exceptional and the entire family had a great time. The kids enjoyed being out on the lake until almost 10pm nightly to make the most of the long summer days. The home was close to Smokey Point and stores. Easily one of our best family vacations - would absolutely stay here again!"

"Unit was very large with beautifully equipped kitchen. Bonus was it even had a dishwasher! Yard was partially fenced which was an added benefit if traveling with a pet. Only downside were the trains running in the middle of the night if you’re a light sleeper. Very clean and well maintained. Great value for the size and amenities. "
