"We booked here in the morning to secure a room. Then spent the morning and early afternoon shopping in Solvang. Alas, our plan to enjoy dinner at Pea Soup Anderson’s Restaurant was foiled: it went out of business in January 2024. So we had Gino’s excellent pizza delivered. Problem solved. Though we miss the pea soup and short walk to the restaurant."

"This was a great place for couples or families. Loved the environment and how they had activities for the weekend. The cottages were nice and cozy feel. Only thing was there wasn’t any pans just pots but that’s okay we made it work!"

"The ease of check-in was nice after a long drive. The room was clean, simple, no frills and exactly what was needed for a shower and some sleep. Very quiet until the neighbor enters their room, then you realize the walls are kind of thin. Fortunately, the noise didn't last long. Bathroom was clean. Being your own toiletries as a small shower bar and a sample pack of conditioning shampoo is all that is provided. I would stay here again if I'm needing an affordable spot. "Checked in late on a last minute detour. Check in was fast and easy. Melissa at the front desk was very kind and helpful, made sure to get us the room and view we wanted. The room was spotless, and the bed incredibly comfortable. Damien at the desk in the morning was great about giving us a little extra time to check out. I wish we had gotten there earlier the night before to enjoy the pool and hot tub, which looked amazing and self serve wine tap in the lobby, but will have to wait until the...

"It’s a beautiful hotel. It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We had a few issues when we first got to our room but they sent someone to fix them right away. The town of Los Olivos is charming and we enjoyed walking into town to shop and eat. Looking forward to returning. "

"We consistently have a wonderful stay at the Royal Copenhagen Inn. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. It is pet friendly and our anxious dog is familiar with the property. Solvang has so much to enjoy from the many bakeries to shopping. We have been coming here for more than 25 years and it is always fun."

"This place is a gem along the 101! Traveling from northern CA to Santa Barbara for a graduation and stayed here 1 night before picking up family at the SB airport the next day. It sits high atop the hill with a view in all directions and, with the adorable retro vibe, feels literally removed from every day life. I just wish I could have stayed a few more nights.
