"The Crane Resort is wonderful and absolutely terrible both. This may be the hardest review I've ever had to write. Our family loved many things about this property, but we also hated some basic must haves. First, the location can be considered a good or bad thing. The property is isolated and the activity and restaurant selection is limited. We rented a car which helped us get around. The resort is on the windy side of Barbados and the waves can be large. "The property is centrally located, especially for Oistins. It is located off Lodge Road, so it’s on a bus route with buses readily available for going to Bridgetown and surrounding areas. The host was impeccable. Wi-Fi was reliable and consistent."

"I booked this apartment late afternoon, and arrived promptly after booking. The host Greg was fantastic. He was friendly and extremely helpful. I couldn’t have asked for a better host. He made sure I had everything I needed and settled me into the apartment with all the info I needed. WiFi was fast and there was a smart tv too to watch Netflix or Amazon prime. Shower was great. "The hotel has a lovely location and the staff are so friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the food, particularly breakfast. It used to be so good but has gone downhill. This wouldn’t put me off returning because the bedroom refurbishment is greatly improved and the staff are so nice."

"Staff was amazing, BUT just on the next day of my stay ( Out of 7 nights), the construction workers arrived and occupied most of the resort. I booked a stay at a quiet resort and carefully planned it, as it was over a week. Was looking for a peaceful retreat as per their description. It was a complete opposite- the male guest ( construction workers) were very loud, until late hours, crazy music until late and also early morning from 5am, as they were getting ready to work.
