"I liked it was a 13th century property because it has a lot of history. Staff were not visible and liquid soap was not replaced for three days in shared toilet. The young bar tender was pleasant and the kitchen was do it yourself catering. So no breakfast served. Cereals, milk and other loose foods were available though this aspect was not clearly communicated from the start. One bathroom had a power shower which was handy, due to the lack of rain I didn't want to use the baths."

"The room we stayed in was rm 5 The Edge, we had full view of the beach and Ocean. The town was within walking distance easy to get around. The hotel and staff were excellent. Would definitely stay again."

"The room was fine, although for some reason there weren't any hangers in the wardrobe. I was thankful for ice from the bar downstairs (it was another very hot day), and also for the quiet neighbourhood. Overall, I'd definitely stay here again."

"Staff, owners and even guests all friendly and helpful. Nothing too much trouble for owner snd staff. Lovely relaxing atmosphere in spacious, airy comfortable rooms. Plenty of free parking. Joanna was amazing, and even provided complimentary champgne for our wedding anniversary. Great food too. Our favourite place. We'll be staying again. Steve snd Jill."

"I booked a single room and the room was fine, however, there's been a heatwave in the UK and it continued while I was staying at this hotel. I would have thought that, given there is no air conditioning in the hotel rooms and the heatwave was ongoing, a fan would have been provided. My room faced west so it was quite hot and it didn't cool down much as the evening progressed because there was no cross breeze - just one window on one side of the room.

"Jamaica inn was beautiful. Set on the Bodmin Moor. Very romantic and atmospheric. Food was lovely and breakfast very good. Staff were all friendly and helpful.
Will definatly be going back especially for the paranormal events. Fantastic stay."

"Nice little one night stopover visiting Bude.
Ample parking and easy to find. Straight road into Bude. A little isolated so make sure you buy supplies from Bude on the way back.
A few spiderwebs and bugs in the room when we arrived but only because the window was left open thankfully because it was such a hot day.
Paula the host was very helpful and friendly start to finish. Will stay again if we visit Bude again."
