"The staff were very good. The room was good but very white could do with a bit of colour ( even just one wall ) Overall great view from our room and a great break. Cooked breakfast excellent. Pity they didn’t do evening meals "

"The property was a calm, inviting base with fantastic spa facilities and mouth watering menus, even on my first night when the restaurant wasn’t open but ate in the comfortable bar area. My bedroom was large, comfortable and beautifully decorated with everything you would need in a bedroom/ensuite. "

"Just got back from a lovely weekend, it’s not posh but it’s fairly clean and comfortable, can’t complain for the price for 2 nights. Met some lovely people in the bar and the staff were all friendly. Thank you for having us. "

"We truly really enjoyed our stay. Staff was really helpful, especially lady at the reception. We need more people like her. Room was clean and spacious. Location is good, not too far from the city centre. I would highly recommend this hotel in Cardiff"

"a typical city centre budget chain hotel, with comfortable bed and pillows, and a nice fresh new feel to it. For price paid my only criticism would be a design that does not provide much storage space - even budget travellers bring extra clothes with them!!"

"Based on the fact that this is a budget hotel, the staff are amazing - endlessly helpful and patient with guests. We arrived when all the systems had gone down and the poor reception lady was being pulled in every which way - but she was still so polite, smiling and helpful. "

"Amazing hotel you could park the car you don't have to paid . Food is fantastic staffs amazing. They go the extra mile for you And it near to lots of places to visit the living museum And the outlet retail "

"This hotel is a bit of a faded beauty queen. It was probably once top notch and gorgeous but is now a bit faded but still a place I would recommend without hesitation. The staff were unfailingly polite and the food was great. The area around is a bit...colorful (think "Rainbow.") Cardiff seems a very open minded city and if this bothers you maybe avoid this place as it is located right in the midst of some businesses that cater to that crowd. However, they kept to themselves and I kept to mine...

"The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Lovely room with comfortable beds and interesting design. Loved the old rotary phone. We had a problem with the TV and the staff were so obliging and moved us to another room. The staff went above and beyond to help us."

"All you could want from hotel, but only bed and breakfast. Both were perfect, as was the location. Great for walkers and those wanting peace and quiet."

"Perfect location, looking directly across the Taff at the stadium. Only 10 minute walk to Mary Street. Very clean and the keybox entry makes checking in/out a breeze. Shared bathrooms between floors are immaculately clean also. "
