"The hotel is under renovations and it does not tell you that anywhere before booking. The AC was effected because of this. The pool and public restrooms in the lobby were closed because of it. The lobby is torn up due to the renovations. The outside of the building was a mess due to the renovations. We got a nail in the tire of our rental car because of the outside work. "The Motel 6 in Danvers Ma. was just off rte. 1 North but once in their parking lot you wouldn't know you were near a major highway -which was a good thing! I was able to check in an hour and a half early and got an upgrade to my room on the 1st floor. It was the 3rd of July and supposed to be a hot couple of days and I found the air conditioner on in my room - another good thing! "The staff was watching shows and looking on their phone instead of checking us in and it was very awkward, she was showing us different things on her phone and we were tired from the road trip and just wanted to rest.
