"A quaint home that wax turned into a hotel."

"Loved the old charm of this hotel. The staff is helpful. Some of the items in the hotel could be updated while still keeping the old charm. For example, the door handle on the bathroom was old and ready to fall off and the fixtures and window was very old. Overall, it was a good stay and I'd stay again."

"We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is quiet and has a great vibe. It’s a good 15min walk to the main center of city but is a pleasant walk. Met all our needs. Comfortable bed, clean, cute themed room and most importantly it was quiet."

"Adorable property in a great location! We were able to walk everywhere in downtown Salem. The staff was great and breakfast was good. Unique place to stay that matches the vibe of Salem itself. Very quiet place and I slept better than I have in a long time. Also got to relax with a bath in the claw-foot tub. AMAZING! Highly recommend this property!"

"Beautiful property and super helpful front desk team! Great communication leading up to the stay, and friendly welcome. Pantry well stocked (fresh cookies!), and comfortable lounge area. Perfect location for museum, restaurants, shops, and sights. Room was clean and comfortable!"

"Excellent location, easy self-checkin, responsive offsite staff. The room was cozy, clean, and included everything I needed. The only issue was noise - I could hear the people who checked-in above me from 5 pm till they finally went to bed a little after midnight. People seem oblivious to how easily impact noise travels in old NE construction. My room was also overlooking the parking lot and noise carried up easily from that."

"Have stayed here twice. Very convenient to the college, easy check-in. Both times we were here, there was a blizzard, but the host helped dig our car out and kept the property clean and passable. Would stay again. "
