"Absolutely beautiful hotel in the most ideal location for a first time traveler like myself. All of the staff were very nice and helpful throughout my stay! I had a one bedroom king suite (3rd floor, so yes there are some stairs!) with a private balcony overlooking the harbor. Absolutely stunning views! The town itself is very walkable and the Elia sits from and center directly on the Chania Harbor! If you were looking at this hotel, don’t second-guess it and just book it you won’t regret it!"

"Alcanea Boutique Hotel is an absolute gem in Chania! Eva was exceptional, checking in on us when our flight was delayed, providing us with detailed recommendations of restaurants and beaches then following up with us on our return. The location was incredible and the interior and exterior of the 500 year old building provided for such a unique experience. "Ce nouvel hôtel est en cours d'achèvement et cela a été assez étrange de nous retrouver les seuls clients ce soir-là avec une réception qui ferme à 16h. Cependant les chambres sont confortables, la literie parfaite et la douche top. La famille qui gère cet établissement fait de son mieux et la bonne surprise a été le petit déjeuner buffet qui a été mis en place pour nous 2 avec des spécialités locales excellentes.
