"My boyfriend and I were traveling up to Bodega Bay for a bike ride and we were so lucky to find this beautiful gem! Upon arrival, Arthur was incredibly friendly and helpful answering questions and helped us get settled in. He offered lovely dining suggestions and general exploration. "The Stavrand is an exceptional property; right away it is noticeable how the staff cares about their patrons. They go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The location is an easy drive to any winery and walkable to downtown Guerneville for food and drink; be sure to hit up the local bank turned into an ice cream shop! "

"We loved this hotel. The location is excellent. We had a bay view that was awesome. The room is spacious. We loved the fireplace. One of the biggest benefits is the restaurant across the street and the inclusion of breakfast was great. The restaurant is good and it sits right on the bay. Having the gift shop and the market was super convenient. The pool and hot tub are open late enough and very spacious. This is a gem in Bodega Bay. Would love to stay here again. "Our second time staying here and it’s always so beautiful. We love the nature, heated outdoor pools for our kiddos, complimentary yoga classes and kayaking . Just beautiful property! Only thing they didn’t have for both days we stayed was the complimentary coffee station at the lodge . They kept saying we have complimentary coffee in our rooms . "

"My son and I had a great time staying here. Staff was nice and helpful. The tents are a good size, clean, and beds are comfortable with heated blankets. Nice big clean pool. It was nice to have our own fire pit to roast S’mores. Some other reviews I read were saying the bathrooms were bad but I really didn’t think so. This property is beautiful and we will definitely be back again. "
