It s located well outside Kandy and which was great after the visit of Kandy town with all the traffic and noises. Coming back to the hotel was so relaxing . The room is quite big and very clean. "It is my second stay at Galavilla. I love this place so much. I was happy that the hotel is well developt. I feel as a home. The morning view form the room is realy breathtaking. The hotel is open around 5 years but still everythings is as new.I never see it in another hotels in Sri Lanka. I can recomend everyone who like nature and relax."

"Mapakada Village is a beautiful hotel, tucked away from the regular tourist route - but it’s well worth heading here. It’s set against a stunning lake, where you can do various activities and wildlife spotting. The grounds are beautifully kept, and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. I’d especially recommend the superior double, which looks out to the lake and the pool.
