"There were a lot of ants in the room. The room is literally next to the road so it's pretty noisy with the cars passing by. The bathroom door didn't close fully. Access to the pool is not free. The bed was comfy. the check in/out process is simple. The location is good, about 5 minute walk to the beach. The hotel stal if very helpful. Not a terrible experience, but not the best either for the price"

"This is an excellent hotel in a quaint town. The main property overlooks the water and has an amazing rooftop restaurant and pool. We stayed at their Angelina residence, which is set back a few blocks. It’s quiet with a full kitchen and spacious rooms. The shower was amazing and much needed after long days of touring. Appreciated the friendly and patient staff. Highly recommend Maiori as an alternative to the busier towns on the Amalfi coast."

Problems: hot water/ not enough for 6 people to have even very short showers —2 are tiny showers (4.5sq ft)—so water on bathed floor made for slippery footing; beds “firm” (1 lumpy); kitchen- minimal when cooking dinner for 6; had to use outdoor table & borrow chairs from blue apt to have seating for 6. "First, I'll say that if you plan to stay here, you have to be at least moderately fit. There are almost 50 stairs to climb to the entrance, and there are no porters to carry your luggage.
