"What an amazing place among the hills, overlooking tbe lake. Thankyou to our hosts who did everything to make us feel welcomed and comfortable for out stay.Stepping out of out wood-fire warmed cottage to enjoy fresh bread on the deck while watching the wildlife mill around the property. Spotting an echidna out the kitchen window was a highlight for the kids.We will definitely be planning a return trip when we can. "

"We had a great stay! The property had everything we needed and was very easy to access and communicate with owners .The drive up was a little steep, but totally worth it for the beautiful views once you arrive. It was so nice to sit back and enjoy the peace and quiet, with the added bonus of hearing the local wildlife and birds. A really lovely spot for a relaxing getaway. Thank you Paula ."

"Down the steep driveway with my trailer was a feat, but what welcomed us was a country property with fantastic views of the lake. The indoor and outdoor fireplaces set the atmosphere, and kept the children working and warm! The kitchen and lounge areas were great for our home cooked meals, plus the oil heaters to keep us warm of a night in the middle of winter. "Sarah was a very responsive , warm host. The property is a little piece of heaven. The Shearer’s quarters was a unique awesome experience, just as described by the host on the website, we were very comfortable well lit up at night, loved the outdoor toilets adds to the authentic experience we were after. Luxuries in abundance at this property, peace, tranquility, calmness and connections to nature but if one is looking for materialistic luxuries leave this little piece of heaven off your list...
