"Lovely property, friendly and accommodating staff. We stayed at the Rob Waddell Lodge which is a great place for large families such as ours. Amazing views of the lake and very well equipped with everything. Will definitely return and recommend this place to others. "

"We cannot say enough about this property. We were absolutely floored by the views, the hospitality, and the comfort. Angus is the best host I've ever interacted with. He was so welcoming, had great recommendations, and we loved talking to him. We also adored the onsite kitty!"

"What an incredible place to simply enjoy. It felt like home. All the small touches of personal oversight were so warm and perfect. The art was incredible, from the paintings to the crochet blankets, to the patchwork. One night was not enough! I will definitely be back. "

"We had a wedding nearby.We were allowed in slightly earlier which was very helpful as we needed to be at the wedding at 2:30 and had to get changed before hand.The house was very well equipped and dealing with the owner has been very easy"

"A fantastic stay, we booked for two nights but loved it that much we asked to stay another night, it was almost two! Perfect for a couple of friends, two rooms, comfy beds and plenty of towels. The Spa amazing! There is limited wifi signal an old TV and a selection of DVD's and some games, so not for you if can't unplug. We found it warm, cosy and would highly recommend, plus Sue was great to deal with. A perfect spot. "

"It is always our best place to stay & caters for our whanau when we all get together with such a great big space it’s just unfortunate when others don’t leave the property as clean as I would like to have it so I do tend to waste time cleaning on arrival as I always ensure it’s better than how we got it. "
