"Lovely clean and comfortable room, and bathroom was clean too. Staff were polite, and the breakfast was nice. Double glazed windows, so the traffic noise was minimal. Curtains were dark, so allowed for minimal light in the morning. "

"Yew Tree Farm was a great stay, comfy room and delicious breakfast. Would also recommend local pub, The Crooked Billet, was excellent and very close."

"Lovely room, great views of the park, room was clean. However, staff even though not terrible, are not attentive. Quite a lot staff at bar/restaurant but took a while to serve, on a couple of times had to go up to bar. The only time they came over quick us to clear away glasses, plates etc this was not long after taking last mouthful. Might stay again, but will go out rather than go up to bar/restaurant area, which is a shame as lovely views."

"Good value for the price, clean and all the normal facilities of a HI. Only issue was quite Noisey, rooms not very well soundproofed from corridors and the main atrium that many of the rooms look onto."

"Did the job for bed and shower nothing special. Half of the electric plugs didn’t work but I found one that did so I was ok with that as I only really need to charge my phone. Staff seemed nice and was easy to check in and out."

"The room was clean and comfortable, and the lake view was beautiful. The onsite pub and restaurant had just closed down , which meant a walk alongside the lake which was only a few minutes, to the pub restaurant next to a Premier inn. There was a lot of activity on the lake when we arrived and other activities advertised on site. This was only a stopover for us but was pleasant "
