"Property was well cleaned and staff was very supportive. Breakfast was good. Some area of improvement is Lift which is very old and close early. Also it will be good if items have name listed for breakfast so it will be easy for vegetarian to select. I will definitely plan to stay again if plan to go Maggie valley next time."

"This is a truly unique hotel. It was beautifully, renovated, spacious, super clean, and very convenient for exploring Marshall. The restaurant was good, and it was very relaxing sitting on the deck and listening to the river. The unit was nicely equipped. The only difficulty we had was getting a hold of anyone for questions when we arrived. The phone number in the binder did not answer our call nor reply to text message. I did see a very helpful employee cleaning the next day who answered...

"It was pretty outdated and felt a little stuffy. Staff were nice though and the room was relatively clean."

"The operator uses a very cheap card key that apparently loses its effectiveness when brought close to a cell phone. Both evenings, after long days, we had to go back downstairs to have them rekeyed. Towels are more like sheets than towels. TV mount was broken and monitor leaning. No "fix" apparent."
