"This was a great stay for 15 guys on a bachelors trip. The house was amazing, we fished on the dock, and it wasn’t far from the bridgewater plaza. The only thing was we had to buy our own paper towels and toilet paper. "

"We had a wonderful week at Whispering Pines Estate with our family of 23! The pool was welcomed with the heat and humidity! We loved the covered porch to read and relax out of the sun! We enjoyed the large table to eat dinner together and viewing the wildlife in the evening. We had an awesome week and are looking forward to returning next year!"

"The location is great for downtown entertainment. The unit was clean, instructions for check in and out easy, the owner very responsive. It is dog friendly and the sliding back door faces a walking area that is very convenient for taking the dogs out on walks without having to go around the building. Nice view of the river and hills!"

"The property was beautiful with a great pool and dock. All ages (84 yrs to 7 months old) enjoyed hanging out by the pool. Playing pool, or sitting out on the covered deck playing games and music. Location was convenient to restaurants and grocery store."

"Our whole family - our three sons, their spouses and children - spent a spectacular week together at Hideaway Ridge on Smith Mountain Lake. The home, setting, facilities, and location enabled us to spend lots of time together while also providing spaces for children to play separately from adults visiting. The management team is responsive and delightful. A great place for a family vacation. "

"A lovely place to stay located on beautiful property. Very clean and the bed was super comfortable. Located within minutes of Liberty University which was very convenient to attend my daughter’s music performances."

"Nat is the best of best when it comes to owners. He made sure we knew where to go and what to do while we were there. Comfort was ensured several times. The house is well stocked and very clean. We loved the nearby brewery, little coffee shop and ice cream spots. If you're looking for a place to stay in this area....this is it! "

"This property was perfectly situated just blocks away from the heart of downtown Lynchburg and the river/trails! It was decorated so cute with all the amenities needed for a cross country trip! We would definitely come back here!"

"Stayed in Lynchburg to watch minor league baseball. Was only 10 minutes away from field and 5 minutes away from shopping. Quiet neighborhood. The fenced in yard was great for our dog. The neighbor does have dogs that bark at your dog if you bring your dog. "

"We had the most peaceful and soul-filling getaway at this beautiful property. The cabin and grounds are incredibly well kept, and even the tiniest of details were thoughtfully provided — from a well-appointed kitchen to the morning breakfast that was such a treat.We loved walking around the gorgeous property — the pond, woods, and vineyard were all picture-perfect, like something out of a postcard. It was the perfect couples’ escape for when the world gets a little too peopley — we went over 24...
