"Cute apartment in a suburban neighborhood. Plenty of amenities close by. Short drive to Boston. Private parking was a nice option since it’s so hard to find parking. The apartment was clean however it’s a quirky odd setup. The front door lock was a little confusing and required an app be downloaded to my phone to gain access to the apartment. "The property is well kept and private. The walkability to the great local restaurants and groceries is a 9. Parking is off-street behind the main house, at the foot of the stairs to the private apartment, easily accessible and safe. Travel to Boston is available by commuter rail (purple line) Melrose Highlands 1 mile away. There are many walking, biking, hiking, and boating, options nearby. The owners are accessible if needed."

"I give this place 3 stars, its a nice place with a good amount of room but there are a few issues. Our stay was Monday - Friday, just 2 adults. Pros - lots of room. Cons - no ac. There is a portable ac unit on wheels in the bedroom however, the exhaust vent goes behind a curtain to the window but not outside. There is no way to open the window for the exhaust vent to take the hot air outside so it just pumps all the hot air back into the room. Be prepared to wake up at 7:30am every morning...

The house is just gorgeous, with lovely views of the Mystic Lakes. We had terrible weather while we were staying here, so we didn't get to enjoy the access to the water, but... next time!"
