"Nice stay. Lovely and Clean. Beautiful surroundings. Driveway is very steep and the underfloor heating downstairs would never turn off leaving it very warm. Great stay though and would happily return."

"Lovely little spot in a great village of Marsden, with very nice and well presented lodges. Walking distance to pubs and cafes. The location is also on the canal-side so great walks on starting on the doorstep. Lodge was lovely and the log burner was lovely to put on after a long evening walk this time of year. ONLY negative for us is that we feel the entrance door on the Redbrook lodge needs a little blind or something on the window for privacy. Also the light coming in if you want a lie-in....

"Great communication from booking site regarding access to building, the room was on the very top floor with unfortunately no lift which if you have mobility issues then this may not be the place for you. The room is accessed by your personal access code which is displayed on the digital door handle, the room is fresh and very modern and surprisingly very quiet for its location. "Had a brilliant few days stay at the cottage, the phrase that comes to mind is home away from home. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything you could possibly need. Location for us was perfect with the monsal trail on its doorstep, loads of walking trails nearby and not far from Buxton. Really enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend, thank you"

"What a great evening, staff, the ambience, and the site's adorable stay. Everything was neat, clean, and well-maintained. In addition to everything, the woman on call was incredibly kind and helpful. Definitely need a second visit."

"1st time stay here stayed for 1 night Stopped off here as part of a longer trip. On the whole great. kitchen very well equipped with utensils didnt use cooker / microwave. We used the toaster/ kettle and the nespresso machine. Easy walk into manchester shops/ bars theatres. A minuite walk to piccadilly station. A few little negatives- hardly any shower gel in bathroom dispenser. Didnt like the double bed pushed against the wall with no room for movement to get out the bed very claustrophobic....

"Absolutely fantastic property. Messaging the owner was simple, with quick responses. Great neighborhood. Easy 5 minute walk (downhill) to shops, pubs and restaurants. A little longer (and more work) back up the hill. Extremely clean, well appointed and comfortable. Easy to get to local estates and attractions. If renting a car, get the smallest you can as the streets in and around Bakewell are very narrow. Would rent again!"
