"Rooms were clean but just ran out of toilet paper towards the end of our week stay, they didn't restock in the last 2 days. Boathouse restaurant pricing was a bit steep, and the 2x $3 water bottles in the room were charged to us even on days we didnt drink them; this occured twice during the stay. Otherwise, great location and everyone was very nice."

"The main issue with the property was the bed. The bed obviously was significantly old. As it noisy with every movement, easy gave in when I sat on it, and generally was uncomfortable. The room had a stale smell when you walked in. The staff was exceptional. It would serve this inn well to get new beds."

"The hotel was fine. It needs updating and a deep cleaning. Furniture and carpets need changing. I had a minor leak in the bathroom and called 4 times but it was not fixed during my whole stay. The restaurant was good but seemed understaffed. There was one (very nice) person serving as waitress in the restaurant for breakfast and as cashier in the cafe on her own."

"Chose this for the proximity to the airport, though we drove in from the Central Valley. Safe location. Short drive to the Bay Bridge to get to the city, short drives to the ferry stops, too. Really convenient location. Slept our family of 5 comfortably, but were not used to sharing one bathroom. Extra towels and blankets were readily available."

"Front desk staff needs some customer service training. Not welcoming at all. Of all the different staff we encountered only the last night there, were two people the nicest . That’s a big turn off.
Uber rides from hotel to Berkeley which is where I mostly traveled too- was easy. Good food options around hotel. Bed was comfortable. Only negative thing is the customer service from front desk. Not helpful, rude, and stand offish"
