"This hotel is SO nice we did a half boarding ( dinner and breakfast included). The food was wonderful. The room was nice , clean and very close to Stonehenge. I would definitely stay here again."

"One night stay for a family wedding that was held on site, the room was clean and very comfortable, the food provided for the wedding breakfast was well cooked and very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The building is a converted old country house and as such is a little tatty around the edges but this just adds to the charm."

"We had a two night stay here for our anniversary. Cannot fault anything. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and immaculately clean. Breakfast was a great experience lots of choices from cold and hot options. Lovely garden to sit and relax. Had a lovely walk along the canal. Overall a great experience. "

"It was beautiful area in Romsey community closed to all amenities, the palmerston rooms was well maintained and included healthy breakfast and the couple were amazing and beautiful well kept garden in the backyard. It was beautiful place to stay when you are in Southampton area. Reasonable price with amazing serviced. Highly recommended."

"Stayed for one night, which happened to be the hottest night of the year. Not the hotels fault, but the window in the room would not open. Hotel did supply fans but made little difference. Major issue was after a night in a 30 degree room there was no water for a shower, or the toilet. Spoke to manager who was stressed but apologetic who said the mains were off due to an issue which he hoped would be fixed at some point…. We left quickly to find somewhere to shower and was asked at reception if...

"We stayed in the newly refurbished annex at the back of the property. A very quiet, cool room for a hot Saturday night stay. Exceptionally clean with everything you could want including tea/coffee making facilities & chocolate biscuits. Costs were higher than normal as event on at the St Mary’s Stadium but still a great stay despite the inflated price."
