"Fabulous property in a quiet rural location. Wonderful welcome by Eve. Room big, recently refurbished, lovely bed, spotlessly clean. Milk, water, orange juice in fridge and homemade cookies (with full moon logo) Amazing breakfast, beautifully cooked and presented (all local produce and delicious) Highly recommend this gem of a place. "I really liked the room and bathroom, especially the bath. However I had maybe three lightbulbs that worked which is a shame. I'd have given five stars otherwise"

"Terrible check-in. After a 3 hr journey I waited for approx 10mins at 'Reception' (a computer at the bar!) just wanting to find out where the hotel car-park was while a staff member had a long, long, discussion on the phone about a booking and my friend had pulled in to a lay-by outside. Only 2 staff members on duty, the other staff member was new & had no idea about the car park. Extremely frustrating after a long drive and the staff member just ignored me. "Our stay at the Vobster Inn was delightful! The room accomodations were top-notch and the host, Peta, was so helpful, welcoming and made us feel comfortable. We had a wonderful stay at a wonderful inn. "

"Lovely property. We had a double room, which was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. Plenty of parking. The only gripe (tiny) the curtains wouldn't stay closed. I used a hair clip to keep the morning light out."

"Friendly staff, proper country pub vibes but lovely and quiet room that was clean and comfy. Parking was a little confusing as the car park is very small, but road parking is available all around. Shower was a bit low on pressure but a personal preference. Would strongly recommend to anyone visiting the area or heading further south/west as a stop over!"

"I brought my friend here who was visiting from Australia and you didnt disappoint! Fabulous! Everything was absolutely perfect. Such a nice touch having the radio in the room too. Delicious dinner and breakfast. "

"Dinner was amazing. The service was awesome. Loved all the quirky things to look at throughout both the pub area and our bedroom. Wish we could stay longer to explore these more. Nice little touches like pot pouri in the bathroom. Comfortable bed for a good night sleep. "

"This hotel was a real find. Very friendly staff, our room was very comfortable with lovely toiletries and bathroom extras in a bag. We were taken to our room by a very nice man who left fresh milk and home baked cookies. Our meal was excellent and the breakfast freshly cooked, and quite a lot of choice."

"Lovely stay, very friendly helpful staff couldn’t do enough for us. Twin room no 4 small but very comfy, very nicely decorated, nice views to the left. Lovely bathroom with nice hot shower. We had an evening meal and breakfast there the food was lovely, service excellent. Plenty of parking, nothing much near by but that suited us. Would highly recommend and hope to return sometime. If you want to eat there at night make sure you book a table in advance, we weren’t made aware of this before hand...
