The home is in a great location and had all the amenities needed for a week stay. Host responded quickly to our questions and was very responsive to our needs. Several bicycles were available for exercise or quick trips to run errands.

Beautiful townhome in a beautiful neighborhood

We absolutely loved our stay here. The island was so quiet and beautiful. The home was a short walk to sunsets and beaches. It is conveniently located near excellent restaurants and the neighborhood pool. Our host was excellent. She responded quickly with any questions and gave us the best restaurants to go to and where to enjoy the beach. The home had bikes which I enjoyed taking morning rides. It also had many other amenities I enjoyed, including a fan. It’s the small things that made our stay pleasurable.

Great condo in perfect location

We loved staying at this condo with own little bay, fishing pier and great shared pool. Perfect size property for a family of four and very comfortable. There are some good restaurants in walking distance and great base for exploring the local area. Would highly recommend.

Very comfortable and clean

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this townhome. It was bright and cheerful and very clean. We appreciated how comfy the beds were. The beach was a short walk. And just around the corner steps away was a tide pool that we could go explore marine life during low tide. That was a favorite for our family. The sunset at the beach is incredible. They had everything we needed for our stay. We will stay at this townhome again.

Awesome property, wonderful hosts!

We were super comfortable and had a great stay at this condo! Everything inside was beautiful, roomy, comfy, and thoughtfully provided for! We especially enjoyed the pleasant & accommodating living area, the peaceful screened porch, the full size dining table for meals, well stocked kitchen with plenty of room for four adults to move about in, oh so comfy king mattress in master, generous capacity laundry convenient to bedrooms, 2-1/2 baths, and garage, so no worries about getting caught in rainy weather! TVs and internet worked great! The community landscaping is lovely and facilities are awesome, especially the over-sized well-kept pool! Close to the beach & great restaurants too, and bikes were provided to explore the beautiful area. Hosts were super sweet and responsive! You can reserve here without worries -- we are so glad we did! Enjoyed it so much -- big thank you to our hosts!

Fun in the Sun

Fantastic place that was located minutes from beaches…where we spent a lot of time. Close to interesting attractions such as Ringling Museums, tours and shopping. This location is quiet and feels like you are at home but with sun and sand. Definitely going to come back here!

Longboat Key condo

We had a great four week stay. The location is perfect with just a short drive to Anna Maria Island, Coquina Beach and St Armond's Square. Durante Park is less than 1 mile away for walks or runs. The neighborhood was quiet and neighbors very friendly with lots of dogs. The condo has a very convenient lay out with a kitchen, dining and living area on the 1st floor and two bedrooms and two walk in showers on the 2nd floor. The king bed was very comfortable. We couldn't ask for anymore.

Amazing vacation property

This property was great for the family with lots of space for everyone and fantastic amenities to keep us busy. The ping pong table, bikes and kayak were great additions that we appreciated. Sitting on the bay

Elicia was very cooperative in responding to our questions. The neighborhood was very quiet. The home had everything that was needed for cooking. We went to Coquina Beach every day (3.5 miles away). We also enjoyed sitting on the bay (2 minute walk) between high & low tide watching the boats fly by. We usually had the pool to ourselves. We'll be back! Pat & Ingrid

Exceptional Getaway

This place comes as advertised: clean, modern, safe.Everything you need for relaxing is already there. We stayed for 9 days and very comfortably with 2 pups in some very hot/humid weather. Small beaches w/in walking distance, larger ones a short drive. Owner was super-responsive sending a replacement coffee-maker "next day" delivery. Highly recommend if you want to check out AMI, Longboat and Lido Keys.

AMAZING STAY. We just keep coming back because we love this place!!

Our third time back to this same vacation rental on Longboat Key. We have stayed in the complex in the past and keep coming back to this super clean, well maintained condo. Updated bath, and brand new kitchen appliances since last time we were here. We also noticed there were new sofas and comfy beds. We are extremely appreciative of the friendly hosts who always make it easy with all of the beach stuff (wagon, chairs cooler, bikes etc) in the garage. She even sent me a wine opener on Amazon since there wasn’t one there this time. Loved it all! We are already booked for next year.

2 weeks in Longboat Key

We have been vacationing in Longboat Key the last 5 years. The owners of this property were the most tentative owners we have ever been involved in. They provided us with a number of suggestions regarding what beaches to go to and the many restaurants that were available. Their property was everything that we could ask for. We appreciated the use of the bikes that came with the unit. I loved the showers, that appeared to be pretty new and having the outdoor space for breakfast and a glass of wine at night. Loved having the use of the garage that helped keep our car cool during the very hot days of the Florida sun. Also liked having the garage door openers that made it easy entering and leaving the unit. Looking forward to next year!!

Unclean, unsafe, place is a dump!

Having grown up in Sarasota I’m very familiar with the area and bring my family ( two young kids) to longboat once a year and had never stayed at Cedar East before. The community is lovely but this condo is not. Upon checking in I discovered dirty glasses put away, floors that had not been washed, pilled sheets with hair on them, mattress covers and pillows with stains all over, and dust covered vents. Besides lack of cleanliness it was dangerous with cracked tiles on the shower floors which could of cut my kids feet, pieces of pant hanging of the walls. The AC on the first floor did not work which the owner said was to be repaired that Monday cause the fan was broken which believe it or not was the least of this places’ issues. Also we were told there was a stain on the master bedroom carpet before checkin in, more like the entire carpet in the condo is stained and needs to be replaced. Since it is spring break there were not many options to move, but I went to the Cedar East office and was able to secure another unit, it was a lower rate and so beautifully kept. But such a huge inconvenience and stress to have on our first couple of days of our vacation. Although I was refunded in the end, I don’t want another family to experience this on what is suppose to be a fun, relaxing vacation.

Wonderful stay

We so enjoyed our time in this condo. It was quiet and so lovely. Really enjoyed sitting on the patio at night. It was cold the first few days so just stayed in and cooked and played games but plenty of room to spread out. Will definitely stay again sometime.

Beautiful Location with an Excellent Host

We had the best time at this Longboat Key location. The pictures online do not do the space justice, it is very spacious , bright and open. The one car garage is an excellent feature especially since the Florida heat can be so brutal for your vehicle. The beds were comfortable and the showers were large and upgraded. One of the location’s perks we loved the most was the bay access and dock. During high tide, the bay access simply looks like an opening in the trees to see the beautiful waters of the area, but at low tide the water recedes and reveals a wide, damp beach filled with shells, sea urchins, hermit crabs and mollusks. We took our fishing rods and would stand at the edge of the water at sunset and fish. The dock was quiet and tucked away in the back of the property. We saw dolphins and manatees several times. It was great! The unit has a couple of bikes, that where perfect for getting to the private beach on the opposite side of the property. The bike ride was 5-7 mins max. This beach is mostly quiet and a great place to swim and also watch the dramatic Longboat sunsets. The host was attentive and informative and if we had any questions she answered promptly and professionally. We will definitely be coming back.
