"Staff was very polite, but the cleaning staff may be a bit understaffed. We had 2 rooms for 3 nights and never really had proper housekeeping. I had to ask for towels and toilet paper several times because we were never left any. Our trash was picked up once during our 3 night stay. The beds were not neatly made, and the sheets were never changed. The elevators were very slow, and we did actually get stuck in one of them. They had to reset it to make the doors open. "This hotel was okay. Would I go back? Maybe. It was close enough to everything ( 8 ish min drive ) from the Alamo, riverwalk, food options and the Walter’s gate at FT. Sam. When I arrived my room wasn’t ready ( 4:30 pm so after check in time ) but they moved things around and placed me somewhere else. The room was relatively clean. "They are not ADA compliant! Was traveling with a service dog and was told I could only have the dog in the room. I explained he was a medical device, and was told it doesn't matter. Will be reporting the hotel and won't be staying at a Marriott again. "

"I would not recommend anybody to stay here. At first glance the front part of the hotel seemed decent but the back was totally horrible with two men lying on the hallway. A woman on a corner literally shooting heroin and the rooms smelled like rat pee and the door locks looked totally unsafe. We felt so unsafe and horrified by the location that we chose not to stay the night at all. Worst part is we felt there was some price gouging happening given the conditions and the price was $114. We hope...
