Whispering Pines is a Beautiful, Private, Pet-Friendly (Additional Pet Fee, Per Pet, Required. Limit 2 Pets) cabin, on a scenic dead-end lane. 1½ miles from Old Man's Cave, in the Hocking Hills.

Free Wifi Internet.

The cabin sleeps 2. It has a one-room layout (the bed is in the same room as the fireplace) and is perfect for couples.

It also has a Full Bathroom, with a shower tub.

Located in the country, it is also close to State Parks. It is about 9 miles from Logan, OH, which has shopping and restaurants.

The Kitchen is beautiful and fully equipped. Modern appliances, pots, pans, dishes....everything you need to prepare a favorite meal. It has a Coffee maker and microwave, too.

You can enjoy the scenic surroundings while relaxing in the Hot Tub!

The sitting area is cozy and comfortable and the romantic, wood-burning fireplace is sure to keep you warm.

There is a RokuTV. If you have a Streaming Service, it should work with the internet.

The hot tub is a little old and outdated and was not very hot when we arrived. There was some dirt in the hot tub but noting major. The cabin awesome its small clean and very home like. The cabin was in the middle of everything we wanted to do so our drives were short. Overall a great place to stay and would book it again for a getaway

This place is so cute!!! Perfect weekend getaway. Has everything you need. The driveway is STEEP could be difficult getting up depending on what kind of car you have. Close to any kind of hiking trails/activities you’d want to do in HH. The host was slightly hard to get in touch with, but still nice and nothing we needed was urgent. Great stay!!

Cabin was very clean!!! It was a little smaller than appeared in pictures which was fine for just me and my sister. WiFi worked great in the cabin and location was very close to Hocking Hills state park. The driveway was tricker than anticipated because of a little dip at the end but made it up. Wall heat was unplugged when we got there and we didn’t realise it wasn’t working until it was too late to call. Next morning I text maintenance and he was there within 20 minutes. Ended up having to use space heaters but it worked. If you’re looking for close to trails and plan on making your own food it was great.

The cabin was very nice. Cozy and well stocked. Hot tub could have been a little hotter but was quite enjoyable. The only knock is the driveway. I have a truck but i couldn't imagine trying to traverse it in anything smaller.

The host was super helpful. Definitely dont trust GPS and read their instructions on how to get there. Super clean and smelled wonderful. Beautiful view and a wonderful stay.

Not secluded at all. You can see the cabin’s deck beside you and they can see you. You can’t boast that it has a tub and shower when the tub was cracked and there was no tub stopper. We were quite disappointed.

Cute, but could use some work.

Bathtub had obvious break that was previously fixed. Shower head could have been better. Air conditioner very loud for size of property. Dehumidifier put out a lot of heat and kept one side of sleeping area warm. Jacuzzi buttons were worn and handle was broken. The road into property needs to be graded. Visitors need to be told that a very low car might have a hard time traversing the roads into the driveway.

Room for improvement

It was a nice cozy cabin, but there were issues to deal with First issue was the flush valve in the toilet was broken. It was eventually repaired by the end of day after we arrived. The air conditioner was most likely the same unit since the cabin was built in 2010, and was excessively noisy, making sleeping at night a challenge in July. By the third night we turned it off and the ceiling fan worked adequately enough since the overnight temps were in the upper sixties. Most of the jets in the hot tub worked, but it could stand to be upgraded. All of the appliances worked well, but surprisingly, the oven did not alert you once the preset baking temp was reached. Not sure how the shower tub became cracked, but had previously been patched. No issues with water pressure. Since the place is pet friendly, it would handy and helpful to have some hooks on the walls for hanging dog leashes. Just a suggestion. Otherwise, it’s a cute little weekend getaway in the woods.
