The Lily Pad by Creative Cabins

  • We are nestled on 30 acres of woods just 2 miles from Old Man's Cave. Inside we have a cozy bedroom with full view window, private bathroom/shower, full kitchen, living room area with small dining table for 2, gas fireplace, YouTube TV, and WiFi.

    The Lily Pad is named after our oldest granddaughter Lily Theodora. The Lily Pad is Constructed from a 40 ft. High Cube shipping container, designed for only 2 people. There is 300 square ft of living space inside with 480 sq. ft of outdoor living space. The outdoor space includes a hot tub, gas grill, Seating area and a large cozy swing bed. We also have a fire pit and lounge chairs for roasting hotdogs and marshmallows.

    In our indoor space you can not miss the picturesque glass garage door. The full view door is motorized to allow you to bring the outdoors in. We also have a large picture window in the bedroom, so you can watch the many deer traveling around the property. If you chose to we have a motorized black out blind when needed. There is a private bathroom with shower right off the bedroom. There is also an indoor gas fireplace, cozy leather couch, small dining table and chairs. The kitchen has a small refrigerator, induction cooktop, microwave and toaster oven, All cooking utensils are stocked with plates, bowls, glasses, everything you would need for two.

Amazing Experience

It was a perfect place and setting for my wife and I to get a night away for her birthday and be able to hike and explore Hocking Hills. The animals/barn on the property was a great touch!!! Cannot wait to stay here again and bring our kids.

Wonderful property with great amenities! So much outdoor space to enjoy, along with the barn and pond. A beautiful cabin that contains everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Would definitely book again!!!

Such a fun getaway!

I got this as birthday gifts to my parents. They loved their stay so much! Everything was super clean and they felt so welcome. They were so impressed with the cabin and the grounds. Thank you to the owners for making this a special getaway for them.

Highly recommend. The property was so nice, we actually skipped visiting Hocking Hills to just hang out. Fire pit. Hot tub. Secluded. Great WiFi. My wife was super surprised that I booked this place for our anniversary. Our only regret was not booking another day.

Worth every penny.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this magical little property. The property manager is an absolute dream and made us feel so welcome and at ease. The location is fabulous and seemed to be right in the middle of all the main attractions. We will definitely be back!! Thanks so much!!

Great Unique Property

My girlfriend and myself came here for a weekend getaway and loved the property! Even started looking at the other properties from the owners and may try one of those with the family sometime soon!!

Lilypad experience

Came here for mine and my gf 1yr anniversary. One of the best experiences we ever had. The owners did an amazing job building it and they are wonderful people to deal with. 10/10 would recommend and come again

Fantastic Hocking Hills Getaway

The property was amazing! Very close to the heart of Hocking Hills, tranquil setting, and beautifully decorated. We loved our Wedding "Mini-moon" at The Lily Pad and will certainly be back! This property is one of the most unique we have ever stayed. Being a frequent VRBO user, top 3 stays ever!!! Thanks Dianna

Every detail was perfect!

Few places I’ve stayed have had this level of thought and care! It’s obviously beautiful but the extra toiletries, loads of towels, snacks, walking sticks, firewood and starter made us feel very cared for.

Coolest concept, cozy little spaces..

Wife and I quietly celebrated our first anniversary in this AWESOME concept cabin. They thought of everything you could ever want with the juxtaposition of contemporary look in a camping environment. Will definitely return to The Lily Pad or one of Creative Cabins' other properties!
