Rose Ridge - 8BR/5.5BA Luxury Log Cabin on 25 Acres - Walk to Old Man's Cave!

Rose Ridge was built at the end of 2019 and is located on 25 wooded acres within walking distance of Old Man's Cave. The cabin has 8 bedrooms and 5 1/2 bathrooms. The well equipped kitchen has a table for everyone to eat together and prepare meals. There are also tables on the deck to enjoy a meal or visit with friends and family in a peaceful wooded setting. Rose Ridge features 2 wood burning fireplaces. One is inside surrounded by cozy furniture and a 60" tv. The other fireplace is outside on the deck. There is plenty of space to gather together or enjoy your privacy. There are many activities for all ages including tvs with Directv and dvd players, a variety of dvds, a pool table, board games, fire pit, and a corn hole game. We try to make it cozy so you'll feel like home. We also own Vrbo 1883965, 1938288, 2702910, 2963411 & 3060533 (Property certificate #00358) The base rate includes 12 guests and each additional person is $25/night.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rose Ridge. We especially liked the outdoor space on the back deck and the outdoor fireplace. The check-in was easy and the kitchen was fully stocked. We liked the large refrigerator, and there was an easy flow between kitchen bar/island, and dining room table. We loved the open space. Bedrooms were cute, bathrooms could use the toilet paper holders tightened, as they were loose and the rolls wanted to slip off. We will be staying again in the future.

Cabin was perfect for our group of 14 adults. Still had room for a few more if needed as we had 2 empty twin beds in the bunk room and two bedrooms with just a single person. Plenty of seating throughout from the dining table to couches to swings etc. Plenty of kitchen accessories to make cooking meals a breeze. Quality of everything was satisfactory, with a modern feeling kitchen and bathrooms that didn’t feel dated. Bed was pretty comfy! We opted to drive to a hike but it was super close. Only downside is probably unavoidable from the host—the septic tank is right in the back yard and you get a whiff every once in a while if you’re back there… unless my girl friend was just tooting the whole time!Overall would recommend, we had a blast!

The Cabin was very large for a nice sized family gathering. The kitchen was well stocked. Bathrooms could all use some soap. Shampoos and Conditioner not supplied, but would be a nice touch for the pricing. Enjoyed our stay.

Perfect for family!

This cabin perfectly accommodated our large group of couples and young families. The multiple dining areas was great and the kids loved the pac man machine. The 5 minute drive to Hocking Hills State Park was great, especially during busy season. We will definitely be booking again!

Great weekend get away

I belong to a non-profit called Art Clash we do performance art wrestling. One weekend a year we like to get away together and just relax instead of performing against each other. The place qas nice, clean, and large eniugh to have multiple groups of people hanging out. Some of the beds werent very comfortable but that is about the only negative about the place. Fireplace and hot tub were enjoyed by all!

Winter Cabin Weekend

The cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway! It was clean and spacious and slept everyone in our group easily, we look forward to coming back again in the summer! Julie was very communicative about all things weather-related due to the significant amount of snow they received around the time of our trip, which was much appreciated.

Hocking Hills Family Trip

The cabin is great however a couple of items that we feel need to be addressed: The seating on the upstairs deck desperately need new cushions. This is a great area to gather and socialize however the poor seat cushions do not allow anyone to sit for very long. Also possibly consider adding a tv over the outdoor fireplace on the upper level. Lawn care needs to get taken care of on a weekday or non- rental day. We were VERY disappointed that the lawn care company showed up on our only Sunday and were there for over an hour during lunch time!. If this were to happen again we WILL look for a new location. Also, the dumpster is a bit too far away if the rental agreement is going to mandate that the renters are responsible for taking the trash to the dumpster. Fortunately for us we had family members with a truck and was able to drive it down.

All of my friends and I had an amazing stay and weekend getaway. The weather wasn’t the best, but we had an amazing time spending time tiger and shooting pole. I’d recommend this place to anyone 10/10 times.

Great Stay at Rose Ridge Lodge

Beautiful nature setting, clean and comfortable, great place for our gathering. We really enjoyed the spacious back deck with the outdoor fireplace, we spent a lot of time out there. Would recommend this lodge for anyone needing to house a large group.

We absolutely loved this property. We were a party of 11 ages 58-90, celebrating our mother’s 90th birthday. Such a great space to spread out and enjoy whatever struck your fancy. LOTS of breathing space, well stocked, and just plain perfect on every level. Would stay again in a flash.
